YARD Project

YARD stands for Young Adult Resource Destination and is a program created by the Institute for Health and Recovery (IHR). Based in South Boston, YARD is a highly-supportive open door recovery center dedicated to 18-24 year-olds who are facing the challenges by drug and alcohol addiction. Clever Mountain had the honor of interviewing the staff and participants at YARD's home office.

*Note: Michaela, who was featured in this video, relapsed and died from an overdose shortly after we filmed this. When interviewing her, we were struck by her beauty, wisdom and potential. The disease of addiction is devastating.
